Job Description

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer/Solution Architect/SRE
•  Working experience with AWS services
•  Exceptionally good knowledge of AWS RDS and Aurora
•  Experience with replication configuration in MySQL/ Aurora
•  Ability to plan resource requirements from high-level specifications
•  Linux (Ubuntu/RedHat) experience and knowledge are a must

•  Public Cloud Platform: Azure, AWS, CloudWatch, Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2), Simple Storage Services (S3), Route 53, Cloud Front, Elastic Bean Stalk, Virtual Private Cloud (VPC), RDS, Cloud Watch, Elastic Load Balancer (ELB), Auto-Scaling, IAM (Identity and Access Management) Roles, Users, Profile, Elastic IP’s, Nagios, GIT, Security Policies, Cloud Formation, APIGW, Kinesis and AWS security services
• Programming: Python, PHP, Bash and Shell Scripts, SQL, Boto, Fabric, JavaScript, HTML, Node.js
• OS Platforms: UNIX (Solaris 8,9,10), Linux 5/6, Ubuntu, AIX, Windows 2008,2012
• SCM/Version Control Tools: Subversion, GIT, Tortoise SVN, Bitbucket, Git Lab
• Web Servers: Apache, IIS Server, JBoss, Ngnix
• CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipeline, Circle CI, AWS code, Team city
• SDLC: Agile, Waterfall Methodologies
• Database Systems: Amazon RDS (MySQL), Aurora, Postgres
• Hardware: Sun T2000, M5000, Ultra Enterprise 6000/5000, SPARC sun4c/sun4u, Dell Blade Servers, HP Blade Servers, Dell R720/R730.
• Ticketing/Bug Tracking: Jira, ServiceNow, Junit, PMD, Red Mine, and Bugzilla.
• Virtualization: VMware, VCAC, VCenter.
• Monitoring tools: Grafana, Dynatrace, Splunk, New Relic
• Container Technologies: Vagrant, Docker, Kubernetes for micro-services, Chef,
• Network Protocols: SMTP, SNMP, ICMP, TCP/IP, FTP, TELNET, NIS, LDAP, UDP

•  AWS SDK for multiple programming languages
•  SOA, Microservices and Event Driven Architecture Experience
•  BI, DI Application Experience
•  Elastic Search 7+ (ELK Stack)
•  Kafka (Confluent)
•  Big data management took like Apache Spark and Hadoop
